Imaginary Invalid

The design concept for this production was Steampunk. This was realized by combining traditional 17th Century court theatre with modern commedia dell'arte. I played with the ideas of:

period vs contemporary
traditional vs accessible
forced perspective vs real perspective
structure vs space
real vs imaginary
